Brooke Spence

physiotherapist

Brooke Spence, Physiotherapist, Clem Jones Centre Physio and Rehab, Brisbane

Brooke is an experienced physiotherapist and dual international sportswoman - Australian Women’s Football team and Australian Softball team - who works with patients of varying ages and abilities to achieve their health goals.

She is engaged with youth and adolescent athletes from assessment through to treatment as well as advanced rehabilitation to ensure they are free from, or manage their injuries, correctly. Brooke’s diverse skills transition easily to working across the entire community including elderly clients and chronic disease patients to improve quality of life and daily function.

Brooke’s previous role as a strength and conditioning coach at an elite level has offered her a skills set that is rarely matched in a gym and rehabilitation setting. When combined with the centre’s facilities, these insights enable her to construct high quality programming across our diverse community.

She establishes individualised exercise routines for patients with cardiometabolic and respiratory risk factors for positive mental and general health, pre and post-operative care and guidance, acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, and minimising falls risk.

Brooke also works with the Australian + QAS Diving Squad as an assistant strength and conditioning coach in injury prevention and management.
